If you would like a link to your website, you first need to set up an active link from your site to the RGT@LCM website. To do this, please sign in to your account and go to the logos resource page - follow the instructions on this page, using the logos and links of your choice. Once that has been done, simply complete the relevant field in your 'My Info' page and a link back to your website will be set-up. Please note that this benefit is not available to Associate RGT@LCM members.
These resources are provided by RGT@LCM free of charge for RGT@LCM members to use in their teaching. The resources may be freely printed by current RGT@LCM members and distributed to students providing they are not ‘sold’ and providing the RGT@LCM acknowledgement at the bottom of each sheet is not omitted.
There are three levels of fully-accredited Electric Guitar Teaching Diploma available: Diploma Of The London College Of Music - DipLCM(TD), Associate Of The London College Of Music - ALCM(TD) and Licentiate Of The London College Of Music - LLCM(TD).
Each Diploma provides electric guitar teachers with the opportunity to gain a recognised professional qualification. The reduced fees for RGT-registered tutors (for the complete examination) are available on the fees page. The RGT@LCM Conference is an ideal opportunity for guitar teachers to gain valuable professional development training with seminars by top music educators and also to meet other teachers and learn about the work of the RGT. It is held in autumn each year at the University of West London in London and is the ‘event of the year’ for anyone who teaches guitar. A series of seminars for teachers are also offered throughout the year.
Contact the RGT@LCM office to obtain a special RGT/ACM entry form. The referral fee will be a one-off payment as follows: £350 for each student who joins the ACM Degree course (RGT@LCM grade 7 entrance requirement); £175 for each student who joins the ACM Higher Diploma course (RGT@LCM grade 5 entrance requirement); £250 for each student who joins the ACM Diploma course (RGT@LCM grade 2 entrance requirement). Please note that in order for the tutor to receive the referral fee, the student MUST apply using the special RGT/ACM entry form and include the tutor’s name on this application. The referral fee will not be payable if the student fails to provide the tutor’s name on the form, or uses a standard ACM application form. Referral fees will normally be paid by ACM within 16 weeks of the student’s commencement on a full-time course at ACM.
